(I wish, I wish, I wish)
My wishes are made of stardust and light,
So small, so brief, so bright.
(I wish, I wish, I wish)
This pinch of dust, this grain of near nothing,
Will drift unnoticed.
A speck so small it doesn't irritate the eye.
(I wish, I wish, I wish)
For things never to pass,
I wish.
A silly respite from my pinprick of grief,
This punchline to an epic of fools.
(I wish, I wish, I wish)
That I could have loved you.
It might have been:
Irritating and lovely and you.
(I wish, I wish, I wish)
That One day I will have wished.
Till then, the present chains me.
Till, then, I wish.
(I wish, I wish, I wish)
My wishes are made of stardust and light,
So small, so brief, so bright.
(I wish, I wish, I wish)
This pinch of dust, this grain of near nothing,
Will drift unnoticed.
A speck so small it doesn't irritate the eye.
(I wish, I wish, I wish)
For things never to pass,
I wish.
A silly respite from my pinprick of grief,
This punchline to an epic of fools.
(I wish, I wish, I wish)
That I could have loved you.
It might have been:
Irritating and lovely and you.
(I wish, I wish, I wish)
That One day I will have wished.
Till then, the present chains me.
Till, then, I wish.

I blinked tiredly, watching my hands twist and clench as I ponder about life. The silence between my mother and is comfortable and one that would not normally need to be broken.
The question arises, clawing into my throat and wedging itself there like a rock. I was not certain until years later where my query came from.
"Mum?"
"Mmhmm?"
"How would you react if I was attracted to girls?"
Her brown eyes flicker and she turns to face me, her expression one that I could not decipher. Strange, I had always prided myself on that ability.
She was silent for a moment before answering, her tone one of grief only a mother suffering for her child w
This is not intended to offend.
I asked a man I respect very much about God today.
I felt you cringe when I mentioned Him, most people do. It's not wrong, just a reaction.
I asked him how I could possibly convince someone there is a God in this world.
"You can't." was his simple answer
His eyes twinkled kindly, just as they did when he faced anyone who asked him questions. He had always been that way. Always so willing to answer questions even when the person asking them felt so entirely stupid asking.
"If someone doesn't want to believe then they won't. It isn't possible to argue someone into belief. Just present your opinion and resp
